Jutta Deutschland
Jutta Angelika Deutschland (born 20 March 1958) is a German ballet dancer and choreographer. She became a prima ballerina during her many years with Berlin's Komische Oper. Biography Born in East Germany's Bad Freienwalde, when she was only 10 years old Deutschland began her training at the State Ballet School in East Berlin. She continued her studies at the Ballet Academy in St Petersburg and at the Bolshoi Academy in Moscow. In 1975, she joined Berlin's Komische Oper, earning the title of prima ballerina in 1986, one of only six in Germany since 1945. In 1999, she founded her own ballet school in Berlin, Ballettcompagnie Deutschland, with about a hundred students. In 1997, she left the Comic Opera to open her own "Event Design" agency. In 2009, Deutschland choreographed a figure-skating routine for Stefanie Frohberg and Tim Giesen when the award-winning pair began to dance together early in the year. Both females and males can practice ballet; however, dancers have a strict hierarchy and strict gender roles. Corinna Harfouch
Corinna Harfouch (; née Meffert; 16 October 1954) is a German actress. Life and work Harfouch was born in Suhl, East Germany, the daughter of the teacher Wolfgang Meffert and his wife Marianne (née Kleber). She worked as a nurse and studied acting in Berlin from 1978 to 1981. Her first husband was a Lebanese computer scientist named Nabil Harfouch, with whom she has one daughter. In 1985 she married the late Michael Gwisdek, with whom she has two sons, musician Johannes Gwisdek and actor Robert Gwisdek. In 1994, she was a member of the jury at the 44th Berlin International Film Festival. The Komische Oper Berlin is a German opera company based in Berlin. The company produces opera, operetta and musicals. The opera house is located on Behrenstraße, just a few steps from Unter den Linden. Helga Schubert (pseudonym for Helga Helm, born 7 January 1940 in Berlin) is a German psychologist and author. Life Helga Schubert is a daughter of a librarian, who was also active in economics, and of a Gerichtsassessor who died as a soldier in 1941; she grew up in East Berlin. Schubert completed her ''Reifeprüfung'' (secondary school examination) and afterwards worked for a year on the assembly line in an industrial plant in Berlin. From 1958 to 1963, she studied psychology at Humboldt University and obtained a diploma in psychology. From 1963 to 1977, she was a full-time clinical psychologist; until 1973, she worked in adult psychotherapy.
