Justin Pasfield
Justin Pasfield (born 30 May 1985) is an Australian professional goalkeeper who last played for Wollongong Wolves in the National Premier Leagues NSW. He was part of the Joeys squad for the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship in the Netherlands, and previously played for Bray Wanderers in the League of Ireland, Wollongong Wolves in the National Soccer League and Central Coast Mariners in the A-League. Club career Pasfield was understudy to Clint Bolton at Sydney FC in the A-League during the 2005–06 and 2006–07 seasons, but failed to take the pitch in a competitive match. He joined NSWPL club Sydney United on loan during Sydney FC's AFC Champions League 2007 campaign, the move made permanent at the close of the group stage when he was released from the A-League side. Seeking a return to the top flight, he recently trialled at Newcastle Jets, and was named as a backup to first choice Ante Čović for the Jets A-League Pre-season Cup games. Newcastle Jets Youth is the youth system of Newcastle Jets Football Club based Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. The academy teams play in the A-League Youth, NSW League Two (in youth team & U20) and Football NSW Youth League Two (U18, U16, U15, U14 & U13 age brackets). Youth team history The team was founded in 2008, as a Newcastle Jets representative team for the inaugural season of the National Youth League/Y-League/A-League Youth competition. Ante Covic (born 13 June 1975) is an Australian former soccer goalkeeper. Covic is a member of the Australian national team at the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany and represented Australia on two occasions. Personal life Covic is of Croatian heritage. Clint Brian Bolton (born 22 August 1975) is an Australian former goalkeeper. He was one of the most experienced goalkeepers in the history of the National Soccer League, which preceded the A-League. He played over 300 games for Brisbane Strikers, Sydney Olympic FC and Parramatta Power, and won two A-League championships with Sydney FC. Club career Brisbane Strikers Clint Bolton began his career at the Brisbane Strikers in 1993 signing for the club after spending a year at the Australian Institute of Sport. The National Soccer League (NSL) was the top-level soccer league in Australia, run by Soccer Australia and later the Australian Soccer Association.
