Justin Lofton
Justin Lofton (born February 18, 1986) is an American professional off-road racing driver. He also competes in stock car racing, driving part-time in the ARCA Menards Series West in the No. 30 Ford for Rette Jones Racing. Lofton formerly competed in stock car racing full-time, competing in the ARCA Racing Series and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. He is the 2009 ARCA Re/Max Series, 2009 champion. Racing career Lofton started his racing career in mountain bikes before moving to late models. He went on to run in both the NASCAR Camping World East Series, Camping World East and Camping World West Series, West Series, before landing in the ARCA Re/Max Series. In 2008, he began driving full-time for Eddie Sharp Racing, first driving the No. 93 before moving to the No. 20 for the remainder of the season. Brawley, California
Brawley (formerly, Braly) is a city in the Imperial Valley and within Imperial County, southern California, United States. The population was 24,953 at the 2010 census, up from 22,052 in 2000. The town has a significant cattle and feed industry, and hosts the annual Cattle Call Rodeo. Year-round agriculture is an important economic activity in Brawley. Sharp Gallaher Racing (formerly known as Eddie Sharp Racing) is a disbanded NASCAR team based in Mooresville, North Carolina that competed in the ARCA Racing Series and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Camping World West Series
The ARCA Menards Series West, formerly the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, NASCAR AutoZone West Series, NASCAR Winston West Series and NASCAR Camping World West Series, is a regional stock car racing series owned and operated by the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) and the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). The series was first formed in 1954 as a proving ground for drivers from the western United States who could not travel to race in the more traditional stock car racing regions like North Carolina and the rest of the southern United States. The ARCA Menards Series East (formerly Busch East Series, Busch North Series, Camping World East Series, and NASCAR K&N Pro Series East) is a regional stock car racing series owned and operated by the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) and the NASCAR, National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). 2009 ARCA Re/Max Series
The 2009 ARCA Re/MAX Series was the 57th season of the ARCA Racing Series. The season began on February 7 with the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 and ended on October 11 with the Rockingham ARCA 200. Justin Lofton of Eddie Sharp Racing won the season championship. This season's championship result was the closest in ARCA history, as Lofton won the title over Kligerman by a mere five points. Although Kligerman won an astounding nine races that season, Lofton (who won six races) was able to barely beat him, mainly on the strength of earning bonus points for winning poles. The ARCA Menards Series is an American stock car series, the premier division of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA).
