Justin Nicholas Jackson (born February 18, 1997) is a Canadian professional basketball player who last played for the Long Island Nets of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Maryland Terrapins. He was selected in the second round of the 2018 NBA draft. High school career Born in Toronto, Ontario, Jackson attended Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nevada. In his junior year, he along with Allonzo Trier, played in the 2015 Dick's Sporting Goods High School National s at Christ the King Regional High School in Middle Village, Queens, New York. Findlay Prep entered the tournament as the #8 ranked team. On April 3, 2015, Findlay Prep would lose to Ben Simmons and #2 ranked Montverde Academy (57-53) in overtime in the semi-finals of the Tournament. Allonzo Brian Trier (born January 17, 1996) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Iowa Wolves of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Arizona Wildcats. As a sophomore in 2016–17, he earned second-team all-conference honors in the Pac-12 and was named the most outstanding player in the Pac-12 tournament. Montverde Academy is a private PK–12 school in Montverde, Florida, United States. History The school was founded in 1912 as Montgomery Industrial School. The school president was Henry P. Carpenter. It underwent a major expansion in 1921, when two new buildings were built for a cost of almost $40,000, including a concrete block dormitory for 200 boys and a new dining hall. The expansion was funded by donations, including $11,000 from R. Jay Arnold of Groveland, Florida. This expansion brought the organization to a total of eight buildings on 200 acres and $150,000 worth of equipment.
