Justin Bozung
Justin Bozung is an American biographer, author, and editor of several cinema books and articles. Career Bozung has written for Fangoria, Shock Cinema, Paracinema, and '' Phantom of the Movies' Videoscope''. He was the co-creator of The Projection Booth Podcast with Mike White and served as the editor of the ''Mondo Film & Video Guide'' from 2010 until 2012. He sits on the board of the Norman Mailer Society, serves as part-time archivist for Project Mailer, and is the host of the Norman Mailer Society Podcast. He has contributed to two books on Stanley Kubrick including ''Stanley Kubrick's The Shining: Studies in the Horror Film,'' and is the editor of ''The Cinema of Norman Mailer: Film is Like Death.'' ''Fangoria'' is an internationally distributed American horror film fan magazine, in publication since 1979. It is published four times a year by Fangoria Publishing, LLC and is edited by Phil Nobile Jr. The magazine was originally released in an age when horror fandom was still a burgeoning subculture; in the late 1970s, most horror publications were concerned with classic cinema, while those that focused on contemporary horror were largely fanzines. ''Fangoria'' rose to prominence by running exclusive interviews with horror filmmakers and offering behind-the-scenes photos and stories that were otherwise unavailable to fans in the era before the Internet. Norman Mailer
Nachem Malech Mailer (January 31, 1923 – November 10, 2007), known by his pen name Norman Kingsley Mailer, was an American novelist, journalist, essayist, playwright, activist, filmmaker and actor. In a career spanning over six decades, Mailer had 11 best-selling books, at least one in each of the seven decades after World War II—more than any other post-war American writer. His novel ''The Naked and the Dead'' was published in 1948 and brought him early renown. His 1968 nonfiction novel '' Armies of the Night'' won the Pulitzer Prize for non-fiction as well as the National Book Award. Among his best-known works is ''The Executioner's Song'', the 1979 winner of the Pulitzer Prize for fiction. Frank Joseph Perry Jr. (August 21, 1930 – August 29, 1995) was an American stage director and filmmaker. His 1962 independent film '' David and Lisa'' earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay (written by his then-wife Eleanor Perry). The couple collaborated on five more films, including '' The Swimmer'', ''Diary of a Mad Housewife'', and the Emmy Award–nominated ''A Christmas Memory'', based on a short story by Truman Capote.
