Justin Allgood
Justin Allgood (born June 11, 1983) is a former American football quarterback who played two seasons in the Arena Football League (AFL) with the Tulsa Talons and Philadelphia Soul. He played college football at Trinity Valley Community College and Central Oklahoma. Early life Allgood played baseball and football at The Colony High School in The Colony, Texas. He was a two-time All-District football selection and an honorable mention All-Stater. He was also a second-team All-District selection in baseball. College career Allgood garnered 4,056 passing yards and 32 touchdowns in two years playing for the Trinity Valley Community College Cardinals. He earned first-team All-Conference honors as a freshman. Allgood transferred to play football for the University of Central Oklahoma Bronchos of the University of Central Oklahoma. 2011 Tulsa Talons Season
The Tulsa Talons season was the 12th season for the franchise, and the second in the Arena Football League. The team was coached by Mitch Allner and played their home games at BOK Center. The Talons finished the season 8–10, failing to qualify for the playoffs. This would be the last season for the Talons in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 2011 Philadelphia Soul Season
The Philadelphia Soul season was the 6th season for the franchise in the Arena Football League. The team was coached by Mike Hohensee and played their home games at Wells Fargo Center. This was the first season for the Soul since they won ArenaBowl XXII in 2008, after the league went on hiatus in 2009 and the franchise was not active in 2010. The Soul finished the season 6–12, and missed the playoffs. Rodney Bernard Wright, Jr. (born November 28, 1979) is a former American football wide receiver. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2002 NFL Draft. He played college football at Fresno State. The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers were a minor league arena football team that played in the AF2. The team was part of the East Division in the American conference. The Pioneers were an expansion team for the league's 2002 season, and were the runners-up in ArenaCup VIII and ArenaCup X. Franchise history 2001 The AF2 announced their expansion into the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area on July 24, 2001. Ownership would comprise a Baltimore-based group, Smith Sports International, and NFL legend Johnny Unitas. The team signed a 10-year lease with the First Union Arena at Casey Plaza (later Wachovia Arena and now Mohegan Sun Arena) and would begin play with the 2002 season in the league's Northeast Division.
