Justice League Legends
''Justice League Legends'' was part of the UK 'Collector Edition' line of DC Comics reprints published by Titan Magazines beginning June 2007. It reprinted Justice League of America related comics from DC Comics from the United States. ''Justice League Legends'' accompanied ''Batman Legends'' and '' Superman Legends'' as the third DC Collector's Edition published for the UK, and follows from the ''Marvel Collector's Editions'' published by Panini Comics. It was cancelled with issue 10, though the story ''Justice'' will be continued in ''Superman Legends''. Each issue was 76 pages long, similar to the Panini Comics Collectors' Editions. It reprinted modern (less than 2 years old) stories and was sold once every 28 days through newsagents. Titan Magazines
Titan Magazines is the magazine-publishing division of Titan Publishing Group. Titan Magazines' publishing directors are Ricky Claydon and John Dziewiatkowski. History Titan Magazines launched in 1995 with '' Star Trek Magazine'' with John Freeman as first editor, although it had previously published several one shot film tie-in titles. Since then it has published many film, TV and comics titles, including poster magazines for Tim Burton's '' Batman''. Some of Titan's magazines are published in the US, although not all, some with an entirely separate magazine. In April 2016, Bleeding Cool published a blog/vlog entry pertaining to concerns over Titan's UK reprints of DC titles, specifically cancellations and a lack of updates and communication with readers, as well as addressing the frequent inconsistencies regarding the publication dates of future issues. Justice League Of America
The Justice League (also known as The Justice League of America) are a team of superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The team first appeared in ''The Brave and the Bold'' #28 (March 1960). The team was conceived by writer Gardner Fox as a revival of the Justice Society of America, a similar team from DC Comics from the 1940s which had been pulled out of print due to a decline in sales. The Justice League is an all-star ensemble cast of established superhero characters from DC Comics' portfolio. Diegetically, these superheroes usually operate independently but occasionally assemble as a team to tackle especially formidable villains. ''Batman Legends'' (retitled to simply ''Batman'' for its third and fourth volumes) was a monthly anthology comic book series published in the UK by Titan Magazines as part of their DC Comics 'Collector's' Edition' range. Initially published by Panini Comics for 41 issues between October 2003 and November 2006, Titan subsequently took over publication with the launch of the comic's second volume. ''DC Universe Presents'' is the name of two DC Comics publications. The first was part of the UK 'Collector's Edition' line of DC Comics published by Titan Magazines. Beginning March 2007, it was originally titled ''Superman Legends'' and was published alongside ''Batman Legends''. Titan also later released several other DC comics following on from the success of ''Superman'' and ''Batman Legends''. The book was retitled as ''DC Universe Presents'' at issue 33 but continued the issue count of ''Superman Legends'', despite the change in title and in some of its content. The title reprinted DC Comics from the United States including '' Justice League'', ''Superman'' and '' Green Lantern'' and was edited by Mark McKenzie-Ray. Green Lantern
Green Lantern is the name of several superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. They fight evil with the aid of rings that grant them a variety of extraordinary powers, all of which come from imagination, fearlessness, and the electromagnetic spectrum of emotional willpower. The characters are typically depicted as members of the Green Lantern Corps, an intergalactic law enforcement agency. The first Green Lantern character, Alan Scott, was created in 1940 by Martin Nodell with scripting or co-scripting of the first stories by Bill Finger during the Golden Age of Comic Books and usually fought common criminals in Capitol City (and later, Gotham City) with the aid of his magic ring.
