''Just the Way I Am'' is a 1972 compilation album by the singer-songwriter Dolly Parton. Issued by RCA Camden, RCA's budget reissue division, the album was largely made up of material Parton had recorded between 1967 and 1970 and had released on her earlier albums, and was an attempt to capitalize on Parton's early 1970s success by reissuing earlier material that newer fans might not have been familiar with at the time. ''Just the Way I Am'' and Parton's three subsequent RCA Camden reissues were later rereleased on the Pickwick label during the late 1970s. ''Just the Way I Am'' was released on CD in 1996. Dolly Rebecca Parton (born January 19, 1946) is an American singer-songwriter, actress, philanthropist, and businesswoman, known primarily for her work in country music. Robert Bruce Ferguson (December 30, 1927 – July 22, 2001) was an American country music songwriter and record producer who was instrumental in establishing Nashville, Tennessee as a center of country music. He was also a movie producer, and Choctaw Indian historian. Ferguson is best known for writing the bestselling songs "Wings of a Dove (Bob Ferguson song), On the Wings of a Dove" and "The Carroll County Accident". The "Carroll County Accident" won the Country Music Association Song of the Year in 1969. In 1983 "Wings of a Dove (Bob Ferguson song), Wings of a Dove" was featured in the movie ''Tender Mercies'' starring Robert Duvall. ''Together Always'' is the eighth collaborative studio album by Porter Wagoner and Dolly Parton. It was released on September 11, 1972, by RCA Victor. The album was released as a digital download on January 4, 2019. Content The album consists entirely of songs composed by either Parton or Wagoner. It contains their hit "Lost Forever in Your Kiss", in addition to the humorous "Ten Four — Over and Out", which exploited the C.B. radio craze a few years before it became a major phenomenon in the US.
