"Just Let the Sun" is the second released from Skin's second album ''Fake Chemical State''. Like her previous single, " Alone in My Room", the song was co-written with Paul Draper from Mansun. This was the first single from the album to be available on CD single. The release featured two B-Sides, "Only Vultures" and "Petrol Station Flowers". "Only Vultures" is often used as the opening number to many of Skin's gigs. Deborah Anne Dyer (born 3 August 1967), known mononymously by the stage name Skin, is a British singer, songwriter and electronic music DJ. She is the lead vocalist of British rock band Skunk Anansie, a band often grouped as part of the Britrock movement in the UK and gained attention for her powerful, wide-ranging soprano voice and striking look. In 2015, she joined the judging panel of the Italian version of the talent show ''The X Factor'' for one season, and 2016 was on the cover of the UK lesbian magazine ''Diva''. V2 Records (or V2 Music; V2 being an abbreviation for Virgin 2) is a record label that was purchased by Universal Music Group in 2007 and sold to IASin 2013. In the Benelux, V2 operates separately from PIAS, as the label bought itself out from Universal in 2007. Mansun
Mansun were an English alternative rock band, formed in Chester in 1995. The band comprised vocalist/rhythm guitarist Paul Draper, bassist Stove King, lead guitarist/backing vocalist Dominic Chad, and drummer Andie Rathbone.
