Just Kidding (TV Series)
''Just Kidding'' is a Canadian live-action hidden camera reality series that first aired on February 3, 2013 on its original channel, Teletoon, and November 19, 2012 on Disney XD. It is not broadcast on Télétoon due to TVA's broadcasting rights of the series in French-Canadian territories. However, on September 1, 2015, the series moved over to La Chaîne Disney. The series has also been broadcast in the UK (CBBC), France, Australia, Poland, Brazil, Spain, Norway, Turkey, and Sweden. Unlike the international versions, the Disney XD version is hosted by YouTube sensation Zach Fox, and the Disney XD stars Jason Earles and Tyrel Jackson Williams, and since 2014, is hosted by the Disney Channel star Calum Worthy. In 2014, ''Just Kidding'' (along with other live-action Teletoon shows, ''My Babysitter's a Vampire'' and ''R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour'') moved from Teletoon to YTV. Billie Rhodes
Billie Rhodes (born Levita Axelrod) was an American actress who appeared in nearly 200 films during her career. Biography Born in San Francisco, Rhodes starting her acting career with the Morrison Stock Company, a local theatre troupe. She was originally discovered by Kalem Company, who gave her a one-year contract in 1913. She primarily acted in comedic shorts, but also acted in the drama ''Perils at Sea''. After her contract ended, she began singing in nightclubs, and was approached by Al Christie, then working for the Nestor Film Company. She was signed and made weekly "polite" comedic shorts through the next year. In September 1916, Christie began his own production studio, the Christie Film Company, and recruited Rhodes. She starred in ''A Seminary Scandal'', Christie's first independent production, then went on to act opposite Jay Belasco in a series of clean comedies. The Beacon Street Girls (BSG) is a young adult book series by Annie Bryant. The series was created by Addie Swartz and initially published by B*tween Productions, then licensed by Simon & Schuster. Author "Annie Bryant" is a pseudonym for a group of writers who wrote the Beacon Street Girls books. The series was edited by Roberta MacPhee. Background The Beacon Street Girls brand started in 2003 by entrepreneur Addie Swartz. It comprised a book series, branded gifts and a website, all aimed at creating healthier role models and more positive messages for pre-teen girls. Treepeople
TreePeople is an educational and training environmental advocacy organization based in Los Angeles, California. The TreePeople organization advocates and works to support a sustainable urban ecosystems in the Greater Los Angeles area through education, volunteer community-based action, and advocacy. Organization history TreePeople was founded in Los Angeles in 1973 by an 18-year-old activist Andy Lipkis. Lipkis and a group of other teenagers began planting trees three years prior at summer camp in the San Bernardino Mountains. Lipkis heard that smog from Los Angeles was drifting up to the mountains and killing the forest. He rallied his fellow campers, tore up a parking lot, and planted smog-tolerant trees. Jon Hein is an American radio personality and former webmaster. He created the website jumptheshark.com and works for ''The Howard Stern Show''. Hein has written three books, ''Jump the Shark: When Good Things Go Bad'' as well as ''Fast Food Maniac: From Arby’s to White Castle, One Man’s Supersized Obsession with American Fastfood.''
