''Just Charlie'' is the fifth studio album by American singer Charlie Wilson. It was released by Jive Records on December 3, 2010 in the United States. The album debuted and peaked at number 19 on the US ''Billboard'' 200 and at number 2 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, selling 57,286 copies in its first week. Fantasia is the only featured guest on ''Just Charlie'', who appears on a remake of the Roger Troutman song, "I Want to Be Your Man". The album also includes the hit single, "You Are", which earned Wilson a career high debut on the ''Billboard'' Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart and topped the ''Billboard'' Urban Adult Contemporary Chart. Charlie Wilson (singer)
Charles Kent Wilson (born January 29, 1953), also known as Uncle Charlie, is an American singer, musician, songwriter, and the former lead vocalist of the Gap Band. As a solo artist Wilson has been nominated for 13 Grammy awards and 11 NAACP Image Awards (including two wins), received a 2009 Soul Train Icon Award, and was a recipient of a BMI Icon Award in 2005. In 2009 and 2020, he was named ''Billboard'' magazine's No. 1 Adult R&B Artist, and his song " There Goes My Baby" was named the No. 1 Urban Adult Song for 2009 in ''Billboard'' Magazine. On June 30, 2013, BET honored Wilson with a Lifetime Achievement Award that was presented to him by Justin Timberlake. Hot Christian Songs is a music chart published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine in the United States. It ranks the popularity of Christian songs using the same methodology developed for the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, the magazine's flagship songs chart, by incorporating data from the sales of downloads, streaming data, and airplay across all monitored radio stations. From its inception in June 2003 through November 2013, the Hot Christian Songs chart ranked the top songs only by overall audience impressions of songs played on contemporary Christian music radio stations. Beginning with the chart dated December 7, 2013, the chart follows the same methodology used for the Hot 100 to compile its rankings. Jive Records
Jive Records was an American independent record label founded by Clive Calder in 1981 as a subsidiary to the Zomba Group. In the US, the label had offices in New York City and Chicago. Jive was best known for its successes with hip hop, R&B, and dance acts in the 1980s and 1990s, along with teen pop and boy bands during the late 1990s and early 2000s.
