Junior Players Championship
The Junior Players Championship is a leading annual junior golf tournament in the United States for male amateur golfers under the age of 19. The tournament has been played since 2007 and is organized by the American Junior Golf Association. It is held at the Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass in Floria, home of The Players Championship on the PGA Tour. The field is made up of the top 58 boys on the AJGA Rankings, plus international invitees. In 2023, Miles Russell, at 14 years old, became the youngest champion in the event's history. American Junior Golf Association
The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) is a "501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf." AJGA is considered by many leaders in the golf industry to be the premier junior golf association of the world.
