Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 was the eighth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest and took place in Minsk, Belarus. It was held on 20 November 2010. The contest was won by Vladimir Arzumanyan from Armenia with the song Mama. This gave Armenia its first Junior Eurovision victory and its first victory in any Eurovision contest. Location The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) invited broadcasters to bid for the rights to host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010. Belarus broadcaster National State Television and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus (BRTC) won the rights to organise the contest over bids from Russia and Malta. Under construction through 2009, the 15,000-spectator Minsk-Arena hosted the event. Belarus has twice previously won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is, according to EBU Executive Supervisor Svante Stockselius, "one of Belarus' most popular television shows." Minsk Arena
Minsk Arena ( be, Мінск-Арэна) is the main indoor arena in Minsk, Belarus. The Minsk-Arena complex includes the arena (hosting 15,000 spectators), a cycling track (hosting 2,000 spectators), and a skating stadium (3,000 spectators). The Tolmachevy Twins
Anastasiya Andreyevna Tolmacheva and Maria Andreyevna Tolmacheva (born 14 January 1997, Kursk), known as the Tolmachevy Sisters (), are identical twin singers and actresses from Kursk, Russia. Aged nine, they won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with their song "Vesenniy jazz". Eight years later, they represented Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, placing seventh with the song " Shine". María Isabel López Rodríguez (born 4 January 1995), known professionally as María Isabel, is a Spanish singer and songwriter. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009 was the seventh edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest and took place in Kyiv, Ukraine. It was scheduled for 21 November 2009. 13 countries were confirmed by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) to compete in the contest.
