Jungle Bride
''Jungle Bride'' is a 1933 American pre-Code film directed by Harry O. Hoyt and Albert H. Kelley. Plot Doris Evans suspects that an actor has committed murder, so she and her fiancé follow him aboard a ship. Following a storm, they end up shipwrecked on a tropical island with some of the other castaways. They try to cooperate on the island, even as tensions flare. Charles Kenneth Thomson (January 7, 1899 – January 26, 1967) was an American character actor active on stage and on film during the silent and early sound film eras. Early years Born in Pittsburgh, Thomson was the son of Edith Taylor Thomson, a concert manager, who raised him alone after his father died when Kenneth was seven years old. Edgar Mason Borden (May 1, 1888 – June 30, 1955) was an American film actor who started his career in vaudeville as an acrobat and then successfully turned to comedy. Throughout the 1920s, he toured in the Keith, Orpheum and Pantages vaudeville circuits, often billed as "the high hat comedian" and the "fun king." Borden appeared in nearly 160 films between 1922 and 1952 and was mostly seen in comedic bit parts. Borden appeared in numerous films with Laurel and Hardy.
