June Harding
June Harding (September 7, 1937 – March 22, 2019) was an American actress who appeared in several 1960s TV shows. She is best remembered for her role opposite Hayley Mills and Rosalind Russell in the 1966 film '' The Trouble with Angels''. Like Mills, Harding did not appear in the film's sequel, ''Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows''. Early years Harding was born in Emporia, Virginia, and graduated from Greensville County High School in 1955. She earned a bachelor's in acting from Richmond Professional Institute. After graduation, she went to New York. She studied acting under Lonny Chapman at The Theater Studio of New York. She took ballet and practiced yoga. Career In the summer of 1961, Harding acted in a stock company at the Cecilwood Theater in Fishkill, New York. In New York, she landed a recurring role on the CBS soap opera ''As the World Turns''. Emporia is an independent city in the Commonwealth of Virginia, surrounded by Greensville County, United States. Emporia and a predecessor town have been the county seat of Greensville County since 1791. As of the 2020 census, the population was 5,766, making it the third-least populous city in Virginia. ''The Richard Boone Show'' is an anthology television series. It aired on NBC during the 1963-64 season. Synopsis Richard Boone hosted the series and starred in about half of the episodes, garnering an Emmy nomination for himself and a Golden Globe award for the show. His repertory company of 15 actors included up-and-comers such as Guy Stockwell and Robert Blake as well as such established performers as Bethel Leslie (who was nominated for an Emmy Award for her performance in the series), Warren Stevens and Harry Morgan. They rotated parts freely; each appeared in most episodes, and each starred in at least one. The regular writers included Clifford Odets. Producer Buck Houghton was overseen by the prolific team of Mark Goodson and Bill Todman.
