The Jumping Bomb Angels were a female Japanese professional wrestling tag team. The members were Noriyo Tateno and Itsuki Yamazaki. History Japan Noriyo Tateno and Itsuki Yamazaki formed one of the most well-known teams on the Japanese Woman's Wrestling circuit. On January 5, 1986, the Angels defeated Bull Nakano and Condor Saito to win the vacant WWWA World Tag Team Championship. Then on March 20, 1986, Lioness Asuka & Chigusa Nagayo, the Crush Gals, defeated The Angels to capture the WWWA Tag Team titles. World Wrestling Federation Tateno and Yamazaki entered the World Wrestling Federation in mid-1987 known as the "Jumping Bomb Angels". Noriyo Tateno
(born December 1, 1965) is a retired Japanese professional wrestler who is best known as one half of the tag team Jumping Bomb Angels with Itsuki Yamazaki. She worked in All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling, WWF and has been working in Ladies Legend Pro-Wrestling since 1992, until her retirement in 2010. Professional wrestling career All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling Tateno competed in All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling in the 1980s. On August 10, 1982, she defeated Chigusa Nagayo to win the AJW Junior Championship, which she held until January 8, 1984 when she lost it to Nagayo. On February 28, 1984, she was defeated by future partner Itsuki Yamazaki for the AJW Championship. Tateno also held the All Pacific Championship in All Japan. She defeated Bull Nakano for the title on November 13, 1989 and held it until April 30, 1990, when she was defeated by Aja Kong. The Glamour Girls
The Glamour Girls was a female professional wrestling tag team. The members were Judy Martin and Leilani Kai History Early career and training Leilani Kai was trained by The Fabulous Moolah in 1975 right after she finished high school at ''Lillian Ellison School of Professional Wrestling''. It was in 1979, that Kai first began working with Judy Martin, who at also trained at Moolah's school and would become her tag team partner. The WWF Women's Tag Team Championship was a women's professional wrestling tag team title in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE). The belief its holders were considered world champions was expressed by Jesse Ventura, an announcer for some of its defenses. Judy Hardee (born October 8, 1955) is a female former professional wrestler known as Judy Martin. Martin is a former WWF Women's Tag Team Champion. She held the title with partner Leilani Kai as The Glamour Girls. The Glamour Girls also held the LPWA Tag Team titles. Leilani Kai
Patty Seymour (born January 23, 1960) is a semi-retired professional wrestler, better known by her ring name Leilani Kai. She began training with The Fabulous Moolah right after finishing high school. In the 1980s, as part of the World Wrestling Federation (WWF)'s Rock 'n' Wrestling Connection, a storyline that combined wrestling and music, Kai defeated Wendi Richter to become the Women's Champion. The 1988 Royal Rumble was the inaugural Royal Rumble professional wrestling event produced by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE). It took place on January 24, 1988, at the Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The event aired as a television special on the USA Network and was centered on the Royal Rumble match, a modified battle royal in which participants enter at timed intervals instead of all beginning in the ring at the same time.
