Jumping All Over The World
''Jumping All Over the World'' is the thirteenth studio album by German techno group Scooter, released in Germany in 2007. Five singles have been released from it: " The Question Is What Is the Question?", "And No Matches", " Jumping All Over the World", a remix of " I'm Lonely" and a new version of "Jump That Rock!" titled " Jump That Rock (Whatever You Want)" recorded with British rock group Status Quo. The album's original artwork features people performing Jumpstyle. A revised version of the album was released in the UK in 2008, their first album release in that country since ''The Stadium Techno Experience'' in 2003. It entered the UK Albums Chart at number 1, replacing Madonna's album ''Hard Candy'', and is their highest ever charting release there. On 30 May 2008 it was certified Gold by the BPI and on 22 August 2008 it was certified Platinum. Scooter (band)
Scooter is a German happy hardcore, rave and techno music band founded in Hamburg in 1993. To date, the band has sold over 30 million records and earned over 80 Gold and Platinum awards. Scooter is considered the most commercially successful German single-record act with 23 top ten hits. Since December 2022, the band is composed of lead vocalist H.P. Baxxter. ''The Stadium Techno Experience'' is the ninth studio album by Scooter. Three singles were released from it: " Weekend!", " The Night" and a remix of " Maria (I Like It Loud)" featuring Marc Acardipane and Dick Rules. Its artwork is an homage to the 1991 album ''The White Room'' by The KLF. It is the first album featuring Jay Frog. I'm Raving
"I'm Raving" is a song by German group Scooter. It was released in September 1996 as the lead single from their album '' Wicked!''. The song is based on the 1992 Shut Up and Dance track "Raving I'm Raving", which is itself based significantly on the 1991 single "Walking in Memphis" by Marc Cohn. Several lyrics were altered including the line "I'm walking in Memphis" becoming "I'm raving, I'm raving". "The Logical Song" is a song by English rock group Supertramp that was released as the lead single from their album ''Breakfast in America'' in March 1979. It was written primarily by the band's Roger Hodgson, who based the lyrics on his experiences being sent away to boarding school for ten years. The song became Supertramp's biggest hit, rising to 7 in the United Kingdom and No. 6 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart. The compact disc (CD) is a Digital media, digital optical disc data storage format that was co-developed by Philips and Sony to store and play digital audio recordings. The terms special edition, limited edition, and variants such as deluxe edition, or collector's edition, are used as a marketing incentive for various kinds of products, originally published products related to the arts, such as books, prints, recorded music and films, and videogames, but now including clothing, cars, fine wine, and whisky, among other products. A limited edition is restricted in the number of copies produced, although in fact the number may be very low or very high. "Korobeiniki" () is a nineteenth-century Russian folk song that tells the story of a meeting between a peddler and a girl, describing their haggling over goods in a metaphor for courtship. Outside Russia, "Korobeiniki" is widely known as the ''Tetris'' theme tune (titled "A-Type" in the game), from its appearance in Nintendo's Game Boy version of the game as arranged by the Japanese composer Hirokazu Tanaka in 1989. "Cambodia" is the fourth single by British singer Kim Wilde. It was released at the end of 1981; a year in which Wilde had already scored three highly successful hit singles and a best-selling debut album. The single was another international success, topping the charts in France, Sweden and Switzerland and hitting the top ten in several other nations. It was released on the 7" format but also as a 12" single in West Germany, although not in a remixed or extended version. The B-side of both releases was an exclusive non-album track called "Watching for Shapes". It was produced and composed by Italian musician Giorgio Moroder and performed by English pop singer Limahl. He released two versions of the song, one in English and one in French. "Enola Gay" is an anti-war song by the English electronic band Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), and the only single taken from their second studio album ''Organisation'' (1980). Written by lead vocalist and bass guitarist Andy McCluskey, it addresses the atomic bombing of Hiroshima by the aircraft ''Enola Gay'' on 6 August 1945, toward the conclusion of World War II. As is typical of early OMD singles, the song features a melodic synthesizer break instead of a sung chorus. "Enola Gay" met with largely positive reviews but was seen as unlikely to impact the charts; aside from its subject matter, the song faced some resistance due to its being perceived as a gay anthem.
