Juma Jamaldin Akukweti
Juma Jamaldin Akukweti (September 20, 1947 – January 4, 2007) was a List of Tanzania National Assembly members, Member of Parliament in the National Assembly of Tanzania, National Assembly of Tanzania. He represented Tunduru District in parliament from 1990 until his death, as a member of Chama cha Mapinduzi, CCM. On December 28, 2005, he also became the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs in the Prime Minister's Office. Akukweti completed Form IV at Songea Secondary School in 1969 where he was a schoolmate of Godfrey Mwakikagile who finished his studies in Form IV in 1968. Akukweti went on for further studies at Tabora High School where he completed his A-level education in 1971. He graduated from the University of Dar es Salaam in 1975 with a BSc. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete (born 7 October 1950) is a Tanzanian politician who was the fourth president of Tanzania, in office from 2005 to 2015. Prior to his election as president, he was the Minister for Foreign Affairs from 1995 to 2005 under his predecessor, Benjamin Mkapa. He also served as the chairperson of the African Union from 2008–2009 and the chairman of the Southern African Development Community Troika on Peace, Defence and Security from 2012–2013. Kikwete who is of Kwere heritage, was born and raised in Msoga, Chalinze District in Pwani Region and attended the university of Dar es Salaam.
