Julyan Ray Stone (born December 7, 1988) is an American professional basketball player for Scafati Basket of the Lega Basket Serie A. He played college basketball for the UTEP Miners basketball, University of Texas at El Paso. Early life Stone was born on December 7, 1988, in Alexandria, Virginia to David and Janet Stone. He has three siblings; his brother J.T. played college football at West Texas A&M University, while his brother Jason played collegiately at San Diego State University. Stone attended Dos Pueblos High School in Goleta, California, where he was a member of the varsity basketball team for four seasons. Conference USA (C-USA or CUSA) is an intercollegiate athletic conference whose current member institutions are located within the Southern United States. The conference participates in the NCAA's Division I in all sports. C-USA's offices are located in Dallas, Texas. College Basketball Invitational
The College Basketball Invitational (CBI) is a men's college basketball tournament created in 2007 by The Gazelle Group. The inaugural tournament occurred after the conclusion of the 2007–08 men's college basketball regular season. The CBI selects 16 teams that are not selected for the NCAA Tournament or the National Invitation Tournament (NIT), and who are willing to pay a $50,000 entry fee to participate. In the CBI, prior to 2020 teams competed on home courts. After the post-COVID pandemic revival, the tournament has been staged at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. The CBI is a single-elimination tournament. Prior to 2020, the tournament was single elimination until the final two teams were determined, after which the championship was determined by a championship series with a best-two-out-of-three format. In basketball, a steal occurs when a defensive player legally causes a turnover by their positive, aggressive action(s). This can be done by deflecting and controlling, or by catching the opponent's pass or dribble of an offensive player. The defender must not touch the offensive player's hands or otherwise a foul is called. Steals are credited to the defensive player who first causes the turnover, even if they do not end up with possession of the live ball.
