Julio Manzur
Julio César Manzur Caffarena (born 22 January 1981) is a Paraguayan former footballer who last played for Rubio Ñu of the Paraguayan Primera División. Club career Manzur started his career at Cerro Corá in his native country before moving to Paraguayan giants Guaraní. He also played for Santos F.C. in Brazil, C.F. Pachuca in Mexico and Libertad in his native country. In 2009, he joined Tigre to play in the Primera División Argentina and the Copa Sudamericana. In 2010, he joined Club Olimpia from Paraguay, to play the National Tournament of that country, scoring his first goal on 13 March, against 3 de Febrero from Ciudad del Este, which allowed his team to win the match. He then returned to Mexico to play for Second Division side Club León, to replace Paraguayan international and partner Denis Caniza. The 2007 Campeonato Sudamericano Copa América, known simply as the 2007 Copa América or 2007 Copa América Venezuela, was the 42nd edition of the Copa América, the South-American championship for international association football teams. The competition was organized by CONMEBOL, South America's football governing body, and was held between 26 June and 15 July in Venezuela, which hosted the tournament for the first time. The competition was won by Brazil (they were also the defending champions), who beat Argentina 3–0 in the final. Mexico took third place by beating Uruguay 3–1 in the third-place match. The 2006 FIFA World Cup, also branded as Germany 2006, was the 18th FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial international football world championship tournament. It was held from 9 June to 9 July 2006 in Germany, which had won the right to host the event in July 2000. Teams representing 198 national football associations from all six populated continents participated in the qualification process which began in September 2003. Thirty-one teams qualified from this process along with hosts Germany for the finals tournament. The Portugal national under-23 football team (also known as Portugal Olympic football team) represents Portugal in international football competitions (final stage and qualifiers) in Olympic Games, as well as in under–23 football tournaments. The selection is limited to players under the age of 23, except three over-age players. The team is controlled by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). Club Guaraní is a Paraguayan football team, based in the neighbourhood of Pinozá in outer Asunción. Founded on 12 October 1903, it is one of the oldest and one of the most successful in the country, with eleven Primera División titles, and has never been relegated to a lower division. Denis Ramón Caniza Acuña (born 29 August 1974) is a Paraguayan former footballer who played as a defender. Career Born in Bella Vista, Amambay, Caniza started his career in Olimpia of Paraguay.
