Juliette Winter
Juliette Anne Winter (born 21 February 1971 in Whitehaven, United Kingdom) is an English professional boxer who was the first woman to win a BBBofC-sanctioned professional women's title on 23 July 2006, defeating former ABA super flyweight champion Shanee Martin in an eight-round fight. Born in Whitehaven, Cumbria, Winter studied Film and Television Studies at the University of Derby whilst establishing a career in full-contact kickboxing. Winter trained with Jane Couch, MBE and Tex Woodward in Bristol. She first began training with former British middleweight champion Neville Brown and heavyweight boxer Clifton Mitchell. Her début fight was against super bantamweight boxer Sara Hall in 2001. The York Hall, officially known as York Hall Leisure Centre, is a multi-purpose indoor arena and leisure complex in Bethnal Green, London, and is situated on Old Ford Road. Oasis Leisure Centre
The Oasis Leisure Centre (commonly called Swindon Oasis) was an entertainment and sports complex just outside the town centre of Swindon, Wiltshire, England, with facilities including a lagoon swimming pool, gym, bar, and concert hall. It was in operation from 1976 to 2020. Cathy Brown (born 28 July 1970) is a British sports coach and former professional boxer who competed from 1999 to 2006. She challenged for multiple world championships during her career; the WIBF bantamweight title twice in 2002 and 2004; the WIBF flyweight title in 2003; and the WBC female flyweight title in 2005. At regional level, she challenged once for the European female flyweight title in 2003. She regularly writes columns for Men's Health and Women's Health magazine. Super Bantamweight
Super bantamweight, also known as junior featherweight, is a weight class in professional boxing, contested from and up to . There were attempts by boxing promoters in the 1920s to establish this weight class, but few sanctioning organizations or state athletic commissions would recognize it. Jack Wolf won recognition as champion when he beat Joe Lynch at Madison Square Garden on September 21, 1922, but afterwards the weight division fell into disuse.
