Julien Brun
Julien Brun (born 1 April 1992) is a French professional golfer. He has won three times on the Challenge Tour, firstly in 2012 as an amateur, before winning again at the Open de Bretagne and the Empordà Challenge in 2021. Amateur career Brun played college golf at Texas Christian University. In his freshman year (2011–12), he won three events. He also won the opening tournament of the 2012–13 season. In September 2012, Brun won the Allianz Golf Open Toulouse Metropole on the Challenge Tour. He was the sixth amateur to win in Challenge Tour history. In 2015, Brun medaled at one of the qualifying school events for the PGA Tour Canada. Professional career Brun turned professional in mid-2015 after graduating from university. Kristian Krogh Johannessen (born 3 March 1995) is a Norwegian professional golfer who has played on the European Tour and the Challenge Tour. He played in the 2020 Summer Olympics and won the 2022 Italian Challenge Open. Amateur career Johannessen played for the national team and represented Norway at the 2012 Eisenhower Trophy with Anders Engell and Kristoffer Ventura, where they finished sixth. Jeremy Freiburghaus (born 30 May 1996) is a Swiss professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He won the 2022 English Trophy on the Challenge Tour. Early life and amateur career Freiburghaus started competing internationally at a young age, and won the 2012 Finnish International Junior. 2021 Challenge Tour
The 2021 Challenge Tour was a series of professional golf tournaments collectively known as the Challenge Tour. The Challenge Tour is Europe's official developmental tour and is organised by the PGA European Tour. It was introduced in 1986 and was originally called the Satellite Tour, before being renamed with its present title in 1990. Similarly to 2020, the season was to begin in February with three tournaments in South Africa co-sanctioned with the Sunshine Tour, but in mid-January the South African swing was postponed to April–May over COVID-19 pandemic concerns. The official schedule announcement was made on 27 January 2021. In April two back-to-back events in Sweden in May were added. In August, it was announced that the Hainan Open and the Foshan Open; both played in China, were cancelled. Matteo Delpodio (born 23 June 1985) is an Italian professional golfer. Delpodio was born in Turin, Italy. In amateur golf, he won several national championships before turning professional in 2006. Delpodio played on the Alps Tour from 2007 to 2010. He won three tournaments and the Order of Merit in 2010. This earned him a spot on the Challenge Tour for 2011.
