Julie Fader is a Canadian musician, songwriter and visual artist, best known as a keyboard player and backing vocalist for Sarah Harmer, Chad VanGaalen and Great Lake Swimmers. In September 2009, she released ''Outside In'', her debut album as a solo artist. ''Outside In'' was recorded and produced by Graham Walsh of Holy Fuck, and features guest appearances by Sarah Harmer, Chad VanGaalen, Tony Dekker and Erik Arnesen of Great Lake Swimmers, Justin Rutledge, Pete Hall of A Northern Chorus, and Brian Borcherdt of Holy Fuck. She was previously the lead vocalist for Hamilton indie rock band Flux A.D. Hamilton is a port city in the Canadian province of Ontario. ''Oh Little Fire'' is the fifth album by Canadian singer-songwriter Sarah Harmer, released in 2010. It is her first album of new material since 2005's Polaris Music Prize-nominated ''I'm a Mountain''. The album debuted at #7 on the Canadian Albums Chart and #24 on the US Heatseekers Chart. History In the five years prior to ''Oh Little Fire'', Harmer was involved with environmental activism and made guest appearances on albums of Bruce Cockburn, Neko Case, Blue Rodeo, The Weakerthans, and Great Big Sea. Blue Rodeo
Blue Rodeo is a Canadian country rock band formed in 1984 in Toronto, Ontario. They have released 16 full-length studio albums, four live recordings, one greatest hits album, and two video/DVDs, along with multiple solo albums, side projects, and collaborations. History High school friends Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor began playing music professionally together after completing university. They put together several bands without commercial success in the late 1970s, releasing a single as Hi-Fi's in 1980. Cuddy and Keelor moved to New York City in the early 1980s to further their music careers. There they met keyboardist and fellow Canadian Bob Wiseman, who was at that time working as a producer. Cuff The Duke
Cuff the Duke is a Canadian alt-country band from Oshawa, Ontario. They play a blend of traditional country and folk music with indie rock influences. History Cuff the Duke formed in Oshawa, drawing their name from a shirt purchased by front-man Wayne Petti at a secondhand shop. Starting as a duo consisting of Petti and Jeff Peers, the band later expanded to include bass player Paul Lowman and drummer Brad Fudge. In 2002 they released their first album, '' Life Stories for Minimum Wage'' on Three Gut Records. They spent the next few years touring with Hayden, acting as his backing band. The sun bear (''Helarctos malayanus'') is a species in the family Ursidae (the only species in the genus ''Helarctos'') occurring in the tropical forests of Southeast Asia.
