Julie Dees
Julie McWhirter, also known as Julie Dees and Julie McWhirter-Dees (born October 12, 1947), is a retired American voice actress and impressionist best known for her work as Jeannie in the animated version of '' Jeannie'', Bubbles in ''Jabberjaw'' and Baby Smurf and Sassette in ''The Smurfs''. Biography McWhirter graduated from DePauw University in 1970, with a degree in speech. She studied acting and improvisational comedy under the guidance of Howard Storm and Charles Conrad. One of her first voice roles was as the title character in '' Jeannie'', alongside Mark Hamill, Bob Hastings and Joe Besser. She also portrayed the character in her multiple appearances in other Hanna-Barbera series. She did the voice of Kanga in ''Winnie the Pooh and a Day for Eeyore'', taking over the role from Barbara Luddy. DePauw University is a private liberal arts university in Greencastle, Indiana. It has an enrollment of 1,972 students. ''Drak Pack'' is a 1980 animated television series about the classic Universal Monsters villains fighting for good. It aired in the United States on CBS Saturday Morning from September 6 to December 20, 1980. It was produced by the Australian division of Hanna-Barbera. Premise The series centers on three young men: Drak Jr., Frankie and Howler, descendants of Count Dracula, the Frankenstein monster, and the Wolf Man. ''The New Scooby-Doo Movies'' is an American animated mystery comedy television series produced by Hanna-Barbera for CBS. ''The Barkleys'' is an American animated television series that aired in Autumn of 1972 on NBC and was produced by DePatie–Freleng Enterprises. Premise The cartoon – inspired by the CBS sitcom ''All in the Family'' – featured an anthropomorphic dog family consisting of Arnie, a bus driver (voiced by Henry Corden) and his wife Agnes (voiced by Joan Gerber). ''Wacko'' is an American half-hour children's television series that aired on CBS on Saturday mornings. The show was a live action variety show featuring skits and musical numbers. The show only had 10 episodes, from September 10 to November 12, 1977. The show took place in the "Wacko Clubhouse", and kept things moving at a frantic pace. One recurring skit was called "Clown Doctor", in which a doctor (that happened to be a clown) would call for his nurse by yelling "Noiss Noiss". The harebrained nurse would enter, causing Clown Doctor to point at his forehead (with a camera close-up on him) and say, "Nobody home... vacant". In addition to comedy skits, the show also would have musical guests.
