Julie Christie (producer)
Dame Julie Claire Molloy Christie ( Molloy; born ) is a New Zealand businesswoman and television producer. She is the founder and former CEO of international television company Touchdown Productions, acquired by Dutch media company Eyeworks in 2006, and then later sold to Warner Bros. Biography Christie was born in about 1962, and grew up in Greymouth. She is the sister of Leo Molloy. She moved to Wellington when she was 17 and started working in newspaper journalism. After a decade as a sports sub-editor in newspapers, Christie moved into research for broadcaster Neil Roberts at Communicado production house. She started her own company, Touchdown Productions, in 1991. Touchdown became a major exporter of television formats to 29 countries, most notably the gameshow ''The Chair'' for ABC in the US and the BBC, and the reality gameshow ''Treasure Island''. Leo Molloy
Leo John Molloy (born 1956) is a New Zealand businessman and former veterinarian. He has been a controversial and polarising figure for his outspoken views. 2011 Rugby World Cup
The 2011 Rugby World Cup was the seventh Rugby World Cup, a quadrennial international rugby union competition inaugurated in 1987. The International Rugby Board (IRB) selected New Zealand as the host country in preference to Japan and South Africa at a meeting in Dublin on 17 November 2005. 2021 Rugby World Cup
The 2021 Rugby World Cup was the ninth staging of the women's Rugby World Cup, as organised by World Rugby. It was held from 8 October to 12 November 2022 in Auckland and Whangārei, New Zealand. It was originally scheduled to be held in 2021, but was postponed by one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the first women's Rugby World Cup to be hosted by New Zealand, and by a country in the Southern Hemisphere. New Zealand were also the defending champions. The tournament introduced changes such as replacement of classification play-offs in the knockout stage with quarter-finals, and a longer scheduling window with at least five days between matches.
