Julian Pollersbeck
Julian Pollersbeck (born 16 August 1994) is a German professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for 2. Bundesliga club 1. FC Magdeburg. A prospect from the Wacker Burghausen academy, Pollersbeck made his breakthrough as part of the 1. FC Kaiserslautern team in the 2. Bundesliga. Ahead of the 2017–18 season, he moved to Bundesliga club Hamburger SV, but failed to convince during his time there, as the club suffered relegation from the league. In September 2020, he joined Lyon where he became the backup to Anthony Lopes. Pollersbeck in a German youth international, having made seven appearances for the Germany under-21 team. The Bayernliga (English: Bavarian league) is the highest amateur football league and the second highest football league (under the Regionalliga Bayern) in the state of Bavaria (german: Bayern) and the Bavarian football league system. It is one of fourteen Oberligas in German football, the fifth tier of the German football league system. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the fourth tier of the league system, until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the third tier. Christian Titz
Christian Titz (; born 1 April 1971) is a German professional football manager and former player who is the manager of 1. FC Magdeburg. Besides coaching, Titz has published several specialised books on football training methods. During his active career, he most notably played for 2. Bundesliga for SV Waldhof Mannheim in the mid-1990s before ending his playing career in the Regionalliga for SC Idar-Oberstein in 2000. He then embarked on a coaching career, managing the youth teams of several clubs between 2000 and 2006 and again 2009, as well as amateur clubs while at the same time working for the United States Soccer Federation. The Regionalliga () is the fourth tier in the German football league system. Until 1974, it was the second tier in Germany. In 1994, it was introduced as the third tier. Hamburger SV II are the reserve team of German association football club Hamburger SV. Until 2005 the team played as Hamburger SV Amateure. The team has qualified for the first round of the DFB-Pokal, the German Cup, on five occasions. Markus Gisdol (born 17 August 1969) is a German football manager and former player. Managerial career Gisdol had coaching stints at Sonnenhof Großaspach, Ulm 1846, and 1899 Hoffenheim II. He was the assistant manager at Schalke 04. On 2 April 2013, Gisdol replaced Marco Kurz at 1899 Hoffenheim. Gisdol's first match as a manager was a 3–0 win against Fortuna Düsseldorf and he went on to save them from relegation, leading to his full appointment as Hoffenheim's head coach.
