Julian Niccolini
Julian Niccolini is an Italian-American restaurateur who co-owned the now defunct Four Seasons Restaurant in New York City. Early life Niccolini was born in Lucca, Italy. One of his early jobs was at the Hotel de Paris in Monaco. Niccolini moved to New York City in 1975. Career Niccolini joined the Four Seasons Restaurant in 1977 and quickly became its public face. In 1994, he and Alex von Bidder became its primary operating partners. Niccolini created a club-like dining room at the restaurant named the "Grill Room", where patrons conducted business during lunch, although he remarked that “everybody n the roomclaims to be serious, but they are actually having fun.” Niccolini was forced to resign from the Four Seasons Restaurant in December 2018 over accusations of sexual misconduct. A restaurateur is a person who opens and runs restaurants professionally. Although over time the term has come to describe any person who owns a restaurant, traditionally it refers to a highly skilled professional who is proficient in all aspects of the restaurant business. Etymology The French word comes from the Late Latin term ("restorer") and from the Latin term ''restaurare''. The word ''restaurateur'' is simply French for a person who owns or runs a restaurant. The feminine form of the French noun is ''restauratrice''. A less common variant spelling ''restauranteur'' is formed from the "more familiar" term ''restaurant'' with the French suffix ''-eur'' borrowed from ''restaurateur''. It is considered a misspelling by some. The ''Oxford English Dictionary'' gives examples of this variant (described as "originally American") going back to 1837. H. L. ''Self/less'' is a 2015 American science fiction action thriller film directed by Tarsem Singh, produced by Ram Bergman and James D. Stern and written by Alex and David Pastor. An assault is the act of committing physical harm or unwanted physical contact upon a person or, in some specific legal definitions, a threat or attempt to commit such an action. Bedford is a town in Westchester County, New York. The population was 17,335 at the 2010 census. Bedford is located in the northeastern part of Westchester County and contains the three hamlets of Bedford Hills, Bedford, and Katonah. History The town of Bedford was founded on December 23, 1680, when 22 Puritans from Stamford, Connecticut, purchased a tract of land three miles square known as the "Hopp Ground" from Chief Katonah and several other Native Americans for coats, blankets, wampum and cloth.
