Julian Curry
Julian Burnlee Curry (8 December 1937 – 27 June 2020) was an English actor best known for playing Claude Erskine-Browne in ITV's legal comedy-drama '' Rumpole of the Bailey''. Early life The son of William Burnlee Curry (1900-1962), headmaster of Dartington Hall School from 1930 to 1957, and Marjorie Graham (née McIldowie), Curry was educated at Dartington Hall School and King's College, Cambridge. Television appearances Curry made his first television appearance in 1965 in an episode of the series ''For Whom the Bell Tolls''. Devon ( , historically known as Devonshire , ) is a ceremonial and non-metropolitan county in South West England. ''A Fine Romance'' is a British situation comedy starring husband-and-wife team Judi Dench and Michael Williams. ''Kavanagh QC'' is a British television series made by Central Television for ITV between 1995 and 2001. All five series are available on DVD in both Region 1 and Region 2. Plot The series starred John Thaw as barrister James Kavanagh QC, who comes from a working-class upbringing in Bolton, Greater Manchester. Although having been alluded to in Series 1 Episode 1, this is only revealed in later episodes as his parents' health deteriorates and through an exchange with a colleague who presumed that Kavanagh was actually a Yorkshireman.
