Julian Blackmon
Julian Blackmon (born August 24, 1998) is an American football safety for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Utah. Early years Blackmon attended Layton High School in Layton, Utah. He played cornerback and wide receiver in high school. A 3-star recruit, Blackmon committed to Utah to play college football over offers from Idaho, Southern Utah, and Weber State. Blackmon also played basketball in high school. College career Blackmon played at Utah from 2016 to 2019. He played his first three years as a cornerback before switching to safety for his senior season. As a sophomore in 2017, he was named the MVP of the 2017 Heart of Dallas Bowl. As a senior in 2019, he was named a first-team All-American by ''Sports Illustrated'' and ''The Athletic''. Safety is a position in gridiron football on the American football positions#Defense, defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage. There are two variations of the position: the free safety and the strong safety. Their duties depend on the defensive scheme. 2020 Cincinnati Bengals Season
The 2020 season was the Cincinnati Bengals' 51st in the National Football League, their 53rd overall, and their second under head coach Zac Taylor. For the first time since 2003, the Bengals had the first overall pick in the NFL Draft, which they used to select LSU quarterback Joe Burrow. They improved upon their 2–14 record from 2019 but were eliminated from playoff contention for the 5th consecutive year after a week 13 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Nick Foles
Nicholas Edward Foles (born January 20, 1989) is an American football quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Arizona and was selected in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. Initially a backup, Foles was named the team's starter midway through his rookie season. He maintained his starting position through 2013, during which he set the NFL season record for the best touchdown–interception ratio and posted a perfect passer rating in a game. His success led the Eagles to a division title, while also earning him Pro Bowl honors. After an unsuccessful 2014 season, Foles was traded to the St. Louis Rams, where he was released after struggling in his one season. 2020 Chicago Bears Season
The 2020 season was the Chicago Bears' 101st overall in the National Football League, their 100th in Chicago, and their third under head coach Matt Nagy. Despite starting the season 5–1, the Bears went on to lose their next six games, dropping them to 5–7. Non-football Injury List
Non-football injury and non-football illness (NFI) are roster designations used in the National Football League (NFL) for players who are unable to practice as a result of conditions unrelated to football, or injuries that did not occur during NFL games or practices. They are similar to the physically unable to perform and injured reserve lists. Active/NFI Players who report to training camp injured or ill due to injuries or illnesses sustained outside of NFL practices or games can be placed on the active/non-football injury or active/non-football illness lists while they recover. A player cannot remain on an NFI list if they participate in a practice or game during the preseason. Players on these lists still count towards the 90-man roster limits prior to the start of the regular season. 2017 Heart Of Dallas Bowl
The 2017 Heart of Dallas Bowl was an American college football bowl game played on December 26, 2017, at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas. It was one of the 2017–18 bowl games concluding the 2017 FBS football season. The 8th edition of the Heart of Dallas Bowl, it was sponsored by fast food chicken restaurant Zaxby's, and was officially known as the Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl. The game featured the Utah Utes from the Pac-12 Conference against the West Virginia Mountaineers from the Big 12 Conference. Utah defeated West Virginia, 30–14.
