Julia Engström
Julia Anna Margareta Engström (born 27 March 2001) is a Swedish professional golfer. A golf prodigy, she became the youngest winner of the British Ladies Amateur, at age 15. She won twice on the Ladies European Tour as a teenager, and was the 2018 LET Rookie of the Year. At 21, she retired due to spinal injuries. Amateur career Engström was introduced to golf by her parents aged two, and she had her first golf set at age four. Bjärred (, outdatedly ) is a coastal locality situated in Lomma Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden. It is situated about 20 km north of Malmö, 10 km west of Lund and 5 km north of Lomma village. With 9,874 inhabitants in 2016, it is the second largest locality in Lomma Municipality and accounts for around 41% of its inhabitants. Bjärred largely serves as a suburb of Malmö and Lund. The 2016 Ricoh Women's British Open was played 28–31 July in England at the Woburn Golf and Country Club near Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, northwest of London. Christine Wolf (golfer)
Christine Wolf (born 5 March 1989) is an Austrian professional golfer. Wolf is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Wolf turned professional in 2012 and played on the LET Access Series from 2012 to 2013, winning one event. She has played on the Ladies European Tour since 2014. In 2015, Wolf finished runner-up to Holly Clyburn at the NSW Women's Open, an ALPG Tour event. Wolf qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics, finishing in the 43rd place. Solheim Cup
The Solheim Cup is a biennial golf tournament for professional women golfers contested by teams representing Europe and the United States. It is named after the Norwegian-American golf club manufacturer Karsten Solheim, who was a driving force behind its creation. The inaugural Cup was held in 1990, and the event was first staged in even numbered years until 2002, alternating years with the Ryder Cup (the equivalent men's event). As part of the general reshuffling of team golf events after the one-year postponement of the 2001 Ryder Cup following the September 11 attacks, the Solheim Cup switched to odd numbered years beginning in 2003. Another reshuffle of team golf events took place in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Solheim Cup will return to even numbered years from 2024. In golf, a hole in one or hole-in-one (also known as an ace, mostly in American English) occurs when a ball hit from a tee to start a hole finishes in the cup. A ball hit from a tee following a lost ball, out-of-bounds, or water hazard is not a hole-in-one due to the application of a stroke penalty. Holes-in-one most commonly occur on par 3 holes, the shortest distance holes on a standard size golf course. The Open de France Dames is a women's professional golf tournament in France on the Ladies European Tour. It has been played annually since 1987, with four exceptions: 1990, 1991, 1992, and 1998. Since the 2011 edition, Lacoste has been the title sponsor of the event. The Women's NSW Open (Women's New South Wales Open) is a women's professional golf tournament held in New South Wales, Australia. It was first played on the ALPG Tour in 2006. The Magical Kenya Ladies Open is a professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour, first played in 2019. The tournament is played in Kenya at Vipingo Ridge, near Kikambala in the former Coast Province. It was the last Ladies European Tour event of the 2019 season and marked the first time professional lady golfers played competitively in the region. El Prat de Llobregat (), commonly known as El Prat , is a municipality of Spain located in the ''comarca'' of Baix Llobregat in Catalonia. 2018 LET Access Series
The 2018 LET Access Series was a series of professional women's golf tournaments held from April through November 2018 across Europe. The LET Access Series is the second-tier women's professional golf tour in Europe and is the official developmental tour of the Ladies European Tour. The Jabra Ladies Open, held at the Evian Resort Golf Club in France and since 2014 the European qualifying competition for the Evian Championship, became the tour's first dual-ranking event with the LET.
