Julia Brendler (born 26 February 1975) is a German actress. Biography Born on 26 February 1975 in Schwedt (East Germany, now Brandenburg in Germany), she began acting at the age of 14 years. For the first role in Helmut Dzuibas' film ''Forbidden Love'' she received the Hessian film award. Then came the film Dagmar Hirtz Irish drama "Moon Dance" and the film by Rainer Matsutanis Comedy-horror '' Over My Dead Body''. Next year, she starred with Johannes Brandtrup in the production of Max Honert "Hamlet." The next attempt to appear in the English-language movie in the film "In the depths" was more or less successful. Now, Brandler plays roles in German cinema and television. Schwedt
Schwedt (or Schwedt/Oder; ) is a town in Brandenburg, in northeastern Germany. With the official status of a '' Große kreisangehörige Stadt'' (major district town), it is the largest town of the Uckermark district, located near the river Oder, which forms the border with Poland. Overview The formerly agrarian town today has one of the largest oil refineries (''PCK Raffinerie GmbH'') in Germany, established in 1958 and connected to the Russian Druzhba pipeline network. The refinery uses 20 million cubic meters of water per year for the process. A large paper factory (''UPM'') is located near Schwedt. Plot The show is set in Essen, in the center of the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region. Mick Brisgau, a homicide detective who was shot in the head on duty in the late 1980s and was then in a coma for 20 years. The show starts when he awakes suddenly from the coma and is allowed to return to his old job at the homicide department. As an old-school macho cop, he doesn't know about modern technology such as cellphones or computers, or modern investigation methods. ''Ein Fall für zwei'' (''"A case for two"'') is a German television series, which premiered on 11 September 1981 on ZDF. The series, set in Frankfurt am Main, features two main characters who solve crimes: a defense attorney and a private investigator. Josef Matula (played by Claus Theo Gärtner), a former German police officer, has gone into private business. His method of investigation is very effective and direct, and he sometimes even resorts to dirty tricks. Claus Theo Gärtner portrayed the role until 2013. The series' original opening theme sequence showed the viewer that Matula had been fired from the police and tried or convicted. Dr. Renz has defended him and Matula is seen walking out of the jail accompanied by Renz. Before closing we see that Renz has hired Matula as a private detective.
