Juicy!
''Juicy!'' was a Philippine entertainment news program that premiered on August 11, 2008 on TV5. Hosted by Alex Gonzaga, IC Mendoza, Cristy Fermin and Shalala, the show features entertainment news, trivia, fan features, and interviews that highlight the Philippine entertainment industry. It was aired weeknights at 12:00 am to 12:30 am until cancellation on August 3, 2012 just 8 days before their 4th anniversary. History 2008–2009 Newly branded TV5 unleashed its showbiz talk show last 2008, hosted by Alex Gonzaga. The goal of the show, which was then a 30-minute program airing every morning, is to provide allegedly unbiased entertainment news to the viewers unlike entertainment shows in rival networks ABS-CBN and GMA Network. Later that year, the late and great Inday Badiday's grandchild, IC Mendoza, was chosen to co-host the show with Gonzaga. Cristy Fermin
Cristinelli Fermin (born July 23, 1956), professionally known as Cristy Fermin (), is a Filipino talk show host. She finished her bachelor's degree in journalism at the Lyceum of the Philippines University. Career She started her career as a political journalist, but soon turned towards writing for tabloids, about movie stars and other celebrities. Her first television appearance was when she became the main host of the weekend showbiz talk show '' Movie Magazine'' on GMA Network in 1987. In 1992, ABS-CBN hired Fermin to host the Sunday talk show '' Showbiz Lingo'' with Butch Francisco. Fermin's participation as main host of ''Showbiz Lingo'' had the blessings from her producers Inday Badiday, and did not run in conflict with ''Movie Magazine'', which aired on Saturdays. Carmelito Masagnay Reyes, better known as Shalala (January 20, 1960 – June 23, 2021), was a Filipino radio and TV personality and comedian. Early life Carmelito Reyes aka "Shalala" was born on January 20, 1960, in Manila, Philippines.
