''Juicio Final'' (2019) (Spanish for "Final Judgement" 2019) was a professional wrestling supercard produced by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), which took take place on May 31, 2019, at Arena México in Mexico City, Mexico. The 2019 Juicio Final event was the fifteenth event promoted under the Juicio Final chronology. The main event, a '' Lucha de Apuesta'' ("Bet match"), saw Último Guerrero defeat Máscara Año 2000, forcing him to have all his hair shaved off as a result of his loss. The seven-match show also featured an additional ''Lucha de Apuesta'' where Mexican female wrestler La Amapola defeated Japanese women's wrestling star Kaho Kobayashi. Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre Co., Ltd. (CMLL; , "World Wrestling Council") is a ''lucha libre'' professional wrestling promotion based in Mexico City. The promotion was previously known as ''Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre'' (''EMLL'') (''Mexican Wrestling Enterprise''). Founded in 1933, it is the oldest professional wrestling promotion still in existence. Gran Guerrero
Gran Guerrero (born 1993) is a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'' (or masked professional wrestler), who works for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). He portrays a ''rudo'' ("bad guy") wrestling character. He was originally introduced to the wrestling world under the ring name Último Guerrero Jr. in 2009 as the storyline son of Último Guerrero. He later made his wrestling debut under the name Taurus. In 2013 he was given a new image, re-introduced under the ring name "Gran Guerrero", officially acknowledging that he was the much younger brother of Último Guerrero. Lucha Libre
Lucha libre (, meaning "freestyle wrestling" or literally translated as "free fight") is the term used in Latin America for professional wrestling. Since its introduction to Mexico in the early 20th century, it has developed into a unique form of the genre, characterized by colorful masks, rapid sequences of holds and maneuvers, and "high-flying" maneuvers, some of which have been adopted in the United States, Japan, and elsewhere. The wearing of masks has developed special significance, and matches are sometimes contested in which the loser must permanently remove his mask, which is a wager with a high degree of weight attached. Heel (professional Wrestling)
In professional wrestling, a heel (also known as a ''rudo'' in '' lucha libre'') is a wrestler who portrays a villain, "bad guy", or "rulebreaker", and acts as an antagonist to the faces, who are the heroic protagonist or "good guy" characters. Not everything a heel wrestler does must be villainous: heels need only to be booed or jeered by the audience to be effective characters, although most truly successful heels embrace other aspects of their devious personalities, such as cheating to win or using foreign objects. "The role of a heel is to get 'heat,' which means spurring the crowd to obstreperous hatred, and generally involves cheating and pretty much any other manner of socially unacceptable behavior that will get the job done." A professional wrestling promotion is a company or business that regularly performs shows involving professional wrestling that has little relationship to the rules of the amateur olympic form. "Promotion" also describes a role which entails management, advertising and logistics of running a wrestling event (''see promoter''). Within the convention of the show, the company is a sports governing body which sanctions wrestling matches and gives authority to the championships and is responsible for maintaining the divisions and their rankings. In truth, the company serves as a touring theatre troupe, as well as event promotion body for its own events. Salvador Munguia (born November 30 in Mexico City, Mexico) is a Mexican ''luchador'', or professional wrestler retired, currently working for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) portraying a '' tecnico'' ("Good guy") wrestling character Metálico. Ricardo Amezquita Carreño (born December 9, 1968), better known by his ring name Virus, is a Mexican ''luchador'' (or professional wrestler). He is currently working for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), and portrays a ''rudo'' ("Bad guy") wrestling character. Amezquita originally worked in CMLL's Minis division as Piratita Morgan, and held the CMLL World Mini-Estrella Championship under the name Damiancito El Guerrero, but was later moved into the regular division and given the name "Virus".
