Jue (vessel)
A ''jue'' () is a type of ancient Chinese vessel used to serve warm wine during ancestor-worship ceremonies. It takes the form of an ovoid body supported by three splayed triangular legs, with a long curved spout (''liu'' 流) on one side and a counterbalancing flange (''wei'' 尾) on the other. Many examples have one or two loop handles (''pan'' 鋬) on the side and two column-shaped protuberances (''zhu'' 柱) on the top of the vessel, which were probably used to enable the vessel to be lifted using leather straps. They are often ornately decorated with ''taotie'' decorations representing mythical beasts. They are in effect a small Chinese equivalent of the ewer. The name ''jue'' is not original, but derives from the ''Shuowen Jiezi'', a dictionary of the 2nd century AD. The vessel originated in Neolithic times as a pottery ware associated with the Longshan culture, between about 2500-2000 BC. Bhawoh Papi Jue (; born May 24, 1979) is a Liberian former American football Safety (American football position), safety. He was originally selected by the Green Bay Packers in the third round of the 2001 NFL Draft. He played college football at Penn State Nittany Lions football, Penn State. He has also been a member of the San Diego Chargers, St. Louis Rams, Arizona Cardinals, and Florida Tuskers. He is distinguished as being the first Liberian people, Liberian to play in the National Football League (NFL). Early years Jue and his mother immigrated from Liberia to the US when he was a year old. He lived in California and Rhode Island before settling in Virginia. Dong Jue
Dong Jue ( 220s–260s), courtesy name Gongxi, was an official and military general of the state of Shu Han in the late Three Kingdoms period of China. He continued serving as an official in the state of Cao Wei, which Conquest of Shu by Wei, conquered Shu Han in 263. Life Along with Fan Jian, Dong Jue served as a clerk and registrar under Zhuge Liang, the Chancellor (China), Imperial Chancellor of Shu, during the Zhuge Liang's Southern Campaign, Southern Campaign and Zhuge Liang's Northern Expeditions, Northern Expeditions. After Zhuge Liang's death in 234, he was appointed as Supervisor of the Masters of Writing and later as the Prefect of the Masters of Writing in 258 to replace Chen Zhi (Three Kingdoms), Chen Zhi. Jason P Jue
Jason P Jue is a professor of computer science and the director of the Advanced Networks Research Lab at the University of Texas at Dallas. Education Jue received his B.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley in 1990. He then received his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Los Angeles in 1991. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of California, Davis in 1999. Career Jue is Professor of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas as well as being the director of the Advanced Networks Research Lab at the University of Texas at Dallas.
