Judy Rabinowitz
Judy Rabinowitz (born April 9, 1958, in Fairbanks, Alaska) is an American cross-country skier who competed from 1982 to 1984. She finished seventh in the 4 × 5 km relay at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo. Rabinowitz's best World Cup career finish was ninth in a 10 km event in the United States in 1983. Fairbanks is a home rule city and the borough seat of the Fairbanks North Star Borough in the U.S. state of Alaska. The 20 kilometre cross-country skiing event was part of the cross-country skiing programme for women at the 1984 Winter Olympics, in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia. It was the first time the event took place at the Olympics. The competition was held on Saturday, February 18, 1984 at Veliko Polje, Igman. Marja-Liisa Hämäläinen of Finland won gold to leave Sarajevo with gold medals in all three individual events.
