Judson Prentice
Judson Prentice (March 2, 1810 – July 27, 1886) was a member of the Wisconsin State Senate. Biography Prentice was born in Oriskany Falls, New York, Oriskany Falls, Oneida County, New York, to Lucy Stafford and Thomas Prentice. He lived in Erie County, New York for 30 years, where he met and married his first wife, Almira Woodruff. They had two children together before her death in July 1844. Shortly after her death, Prentice moved to Trenton, Dodge County, Wisconsin, Trenton, Dodge County, Wisconsin, Dodge County, in the Wisconsin Territory, before eventually settling in Watertown, Wisconsin. In 1848, Prentice married Olive Thompson, a Congregational church, Congregationalist from Riga, New York. They would have five children. Wisconsin Senate, District 22
The 22nd Senate District of Wisconsin is one of 33 districts in the Wisconsin State Senate. Located in southeast Wisconsin, the district comprises parts of eastern Kenosha and Racine counties, including most of the cities of Racine and Kenosha, and parts of the villages of Mount Pleasant and Somers, east of Wisconsin Highway 31. Wisconsin Territory
The Territory of Wisconsin was an organized incorporated territory of the United States that existed from July 3, 1836, until May 29, 1848, when an eastern portion of the territory was admitted to the Union as the State of Wisconsin. Belmont was initially chosen as the capital of the territory. In 1837, the territorial legislature met in Burlington, just north of the Skunk River on the Mississippi, which became part of the Iowa Territory in 1838. In that year, 1838, the territorial capital of Wisconsin was moved to Madison.
