Judson Leroy Day
Judson Leroy Day (October 8, 1877 – September 14, 1944) was an American dentist and politician. Day was born on a farm in Castle Rock, Dakota County, Minnesota. He went to the Pillsbury Academy and to the University of Minnesota Dental School. He lived in Clinton Falls, Steele County, Minnesota with his wife and family and was a dentist. Castle Rock is an unincorporated community in Castle Rock Township, Dakota County, Minnesota, United States. Geography Castle Rock is north of Northfield. Nearby places also include Farmington and Randolph. State Highway 3 ( MN 3) is nearby. Nomenclature The community is named for a local rock formation at the point where 275th Street and Cambodia Avenue join, on private property. The formation, known to Dakota Native Americans as Inyan Bosdata or "Rock Standing on End", was also the namesake of the nearby Inyan Bosdata Wakpa, known today as the Cannon River. Pillsbury Baptist Bible College was an independent Baptist college in Owatonna, Minnesota, United States (1957–2008). Pillsbury described itself as a " biblical arts college." It offered a four-year program leading to the degrees of Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Bachelor of Science in Bible, as well as several associate degrees and a Bible certificate program. Walter Edwin Day
Walter Edwin Day (May 31, 1880 – December 14, 1969) was an American politician, school teacher, and farmer. Day was born in Castle Rock, Dakota County, Minnesota and graduated from the Pillsbury Academy in 1900. He lived in Bagley, Clearwater County, Minnesota with his wife and family and was a farmer. Day was also involved in the cooperative movement. He served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1919 to 1934 and from 1937 to 1960. Day died at Bethesda Hospital in Crookston, Minnesota.
