Judo At The 2020 Summer Olympics – Mixed Team
The Mixed team competition in judo at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo was held on 31 July 2021 at the Nippon Budokan. It was the first time a team judo competition was held in the Olympics. Team Japan is the only team to win this event at the World Judo Championships, with team France winning the last 3 silver medals. The medals for the competition were presented by Mr.  Yasuhiro Yamashita, IOC Member, Japan, Olympian, one Gold Medal; and the medalists' bouquets were presented by  Marius L Vizer, IJF President; Austria. Nippon Budokan
The , often shortened to simply Budokan, is an indoor arena located in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. It was originally built for the inaugural Olympic judo competition in the 1964 Summer Olympics. While its primary purpose is to host martial arts contests, the arena has gained additional fame as one of the world's most outstanding musical performance venues. The Budokan was a popular venue for Japanese professional wrestling for a time, and it has hosted numerous other sporting events such as the 1967 Women's Volleyball World Championship. Most recently, the arena hosted the Olympic debut of karate in the 2020 Summer Olympics, as well as the judo competition at both the 2020 Summer Olympics and the 2020 Summer Paralympics. Sagi Muki
Sagi Aharon Muki (or Moki; he, שגיא אהרון מוקי; born 17 May 1992) is an Israeli half-middleweight judoka. Muki is the 2019 World Champion. He also won the 2015 and 2018 European championships. In August 2011 Muki won the European Cup U20 in Berlin in the under 73 kilogram (161-pound) category. He won gold medals in February 2013 at the European Open in Tbilisi, Georgia, in June 2013 at the European Open Tallinn, and in October 2013 at the European Open Minsk in the under 73 weight class. Gili Sharir ( he, גילי שריר; born 22 November 1999) is an Israeli judoka. She is the 2018 Hohhot Grand Prix silver medallist in the 63 kg weight class. Early life Sharir's grew up in moshav Mazor, where her parents Danit and Danny still reside. Career Earlier in her career, Sharir won a silver medal at the 2017 European U21 Championships and a bronze at the 2017 European U23 Championships. Li Kochman (or Lee, he, לי קוכמן; born 18 April 1995) is an Israeli judoka. He competes in the under 90 kg weight category, and won a silver medal in the 2019 European Judo Championships. Shira Rishony ( he, שירה ראשוני, born February 21, 1991) is an Israeli Olympic lightweight judoka. She competed at U48 kg (under 106 pounds). She competed for Israel at the 2016 Summer Olympics and at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Early and personal life Rishony was born in Holon, Israel, to a Jewish family. Baruch Shmailov ( he, ברוך שמאילוב; born 9 February 1994) is an Israeli judoka. He competes in the under 66 kg weight category, and won a gold medal in the 2022 World Masters in Jerusalem. Shori Hamada
is a Japanese, medal-winning Olympian judoka and army officer. In 2018 She won the gold medal in the 2018 World Judo Championships.
