Michael Craig Judge (born October 17, 1962) is an American actor, animator, writer, producer, director and musician. He is the creator of the animated television series ''Beavis and Butt-Head'' (1993–1997, 2011, 2022–present), and the co-creator of the television series ''King of the Hill'' (1997–2010), ''The Goode Family'' (2009), ''Silicon Valley'' (2014–2019), and '' Mike Judge Presents: Tales from the Tour Bus'' (2017–2018). He wrote and directed the films ''Beavis and Butt-Head Do America'' (1996), ''Office Space'' (1999), ''Idiocracy'' (2006), and ''Extract'' (2009), and co-wrote the screenplay to '' Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe'' (2022). Frog Baseball
''Frog Baseball'' is an animated short film created by Mike Judge in 1992, which marks the first appearance of the Beavis and Butt-Head characters. It premiered in The Sick and Twisted Festival of Animation. Plot The short starts out with a title card that says "Inbred Jed's Homemade Cartoons", with the character of Inbred Jed staring at the camera and cackling. Two teenagers by the name of Beavis and Butt-Head are shown switching channels on their TV, watching TV commercials and laughing at a Suzanne Somers Thighmaster commercial. Later, while blowing up insects with firecrackers in a field, Beavis and Butt-Head spot a frog and exclaim "frog baseball!"; they then proceed to play baseball with the frog. ''Milton'' is a series of animated shorts created by Mike Judge in 1991. Background They aired on ''Saturday Night Live'' in the mid-1990s and, like Judge's other early shorts, appeared on MTV's ''Liquid Television'' in the early 1990s. In the cartoon shorts, all voices are provided by Judge. The 1999 film ''Office Space'' was based upon the cartoons, and featured actor Stephen Root in the role of Milton Waddams. Although Milton was the title character from the shorts, the role was a supporting character in the ''Office Space'' feature film, as was his boss, Bill Lumbergh (played by actor Gary Cole in ''Office Space''). ''The Honky Problem'' is a 1991 animated short film by Mike Judge.Appalachian Journal, Volume 21, 1993, pg. 251 It features an original character, Inbred Jed, who is playing with his country music band somewhere in the desert by a trailer for a small audience of American white trash. Like Mike Judge's early Beavis and Butt-Head shorts, the film was funded by Spike and Mike and shown on MTV's ''Liquid Television'' in the early 1990s. The cartoon is also available on Spike and Mike's Sick and Twisted Festival of Animation Volume One VHS. Plot ''The Honky Problem'' opens with Inbred Jed, a very emotional hillbilly, and his band The Little Bottom Boys (consisting of an upright bass player, steel guitar player, and himself on guitar), playing a honky tonk outdoors concert for a small group of similar white trash citizens in a Texas trailer park. The Animation Show is a touring festival of animated short films that was first held in fall 2003. It was sponsored by MTV, and was created by award-winning animators Mike Judge and Don Hertzfeldt. Due to its association with MTV, the showcase was not intended for children, as the festival was more aimed at adult audiences, with its main kid-friendly equivalent being Nickelodeon's '' Nicktoons Film Festival'', presented by Frederator Studios.
