''Judas'' is the seventh studio album by the American heavy metal band Fozzy, released on October 13, 2017, through Century Media Records. The album's title track was released as the lead single from the album on May 5, 2017. Ahead of the album release, two additional songs were made available on streaming services: "Drinkin' with Jesus" on September 15, 2017, and "Painless" on September 29, 2017. The lead single was a minor radio hit, spending 26 weeks on the Mainstream Rock chart and peaking at No. 5. The song also hit No. 1 on the Sirius/XM Octane charts. Matthew Jean Paul Walst (born December 28, 1982) is a Canadian singer, songwriter and musician. He is the current lead singer of the band Three Days Grace, which also includes his older brother Brad as bassist. Before joining Three Days Grace, he was the lead singer of My Darkest Days. Rich Ward
Richard Park Ward (born January 16, 1969), also known by his stage name The Duke, is an American guitarist best known as a founding member of Stuck Mojo and as lead guitarist of heavy metal band Fozzy. Early life Ward grew up listening to many indie-style soundtracks as that was all that was available to him. After his parents' divorce, Ward's mother's work schedule was hectic, resulting in her hiring a college student to look after him and his sister. According to Ward, the student would often bring over heavy metal and hard rock albums from bands such as AC/DC, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden, to name a few. From that point, Ward had a new outlook on music, having found the genre of music that "clicked" with him. Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States.
