Osasco Voleibol Clube is a professional women's volleyball club, based in Osasco, São Paulo (state), Brazil. It includes volleyball teams for females of all ages, children through adult. Since the 2021-22 season the club plays under the name Osasco/São Cristóvão Saúde. History The club was founded in 1993, by the BCN bank, as BCN/Guarujá and changed headquarters' city in 1996, thereafter becoming known as BCN/Osasco. The club was renamed to Finasa/Osasco in 2003. Minas Tênis Clube (short, just ''Minas'') is a social, recreational and sports club from Belo Horizonte, Brazil. By 2013, it has more than 73,000 members. Its patrimony comprises two urban units, the Minas I and Minas II, and two country units, Minas Country and Minas Tênis Náutico Clube. It also has its own indoor arena, named Juscelino Kubitschek Arena, which is a part of the Minas I complex. 2016 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship
The 2016 FIVB Women's Club World Championship was the 10th edition of the event. It was held for the first time in the Philippines, on 18–23 October 2016 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. For the first time, eight teams competed, including four wild cards. The Philippine Super Liga and Eventcourt was in charge of organizing the tournament, together with the Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas, Inc. (LVPI), the national federation for volleyball. Turkey's Eczacıbaşı VitrA defeated Italy's Pomì Casalmaggiore in the final to become the first team in history to claim the title a second time after their 2015 success. Rio de Janeiro Vôlei Clube is a women's volleyball team, based in Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro (state), Brazil. Since the 2021-22 season the club plays under the name Sesc-RJ/Flamengo. History It was founded in 1997 as Paraná Vôlei Clube, playing in Curitiba, Paraná, and moved to Rio in 2003. They were previously known as Rexona-Ades, and since 2012 known as Unilever Vôlei, named after one of the sponsors.
