Juanmi Gelabert
Juan Miguel "Juanmi" Gelabert Margüello (born 19 September 1972), sometimes known as just Juanmi, is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a central defender or a left back. Football career Born in Capdepera, Majorca, Balearic Islands, Gelabert played five of his first seven years as a senior in the third division, his only season in the second level being 1997–98 with Elche CF (39 games, all starts, team relegation). In the following campaign he signed for Valencian neighbours Hércules CF – in the same category – and met the same fate. In 2000–01, Gelabert returned to division two with Recreativo de Huelva. His solid performances attracted the attention of another Andalusian club, Sevilla CF, which had promoted to La Liga in precisely that season, but he was used sparingly during his spell with his new team, only playing in five games in his second year. Capdepera
Capdepera is a small municipality on Majorca, one of the Balearic Islands, Spain. Capdepera is a historical village just 8 km from Artà. Originally there had been a watchtower where the Castle of Capdepera stands today which was used to guard the coast. In 1300 James II of Aragon ordered the construction of a fortified village which would control the uninhabited land below and the maritime routes with Majorca. For centuries the village survived behind its walls protected from pirate attacks. As the danger of such attacks disappeared residents of the walled town started to relocate themselves at the bottom of the 162m hill which led to the development of modern-day Capdepera. The better known town of nearby Cala Ratjada actually developed as the fishing and trading port of Capdepera and to this day operates a ferry service with neighbouring Menorca. many German expatriates reside in Capdepera. The 2011–12 Segunda División season (known as the Liga Adelante for sponsorship reasons) was the 81st since its establishment. The first matches of the season were played on 26 August 2011 after the Association of Spanish Footballers (AFE) called a strike, the regular league ended on 3 June 2012, while the entire season ended on 16 June 2012 with the promotion play-off finals. The first goal of the season was scored by Xabier Etxeita, who scored a ninth-minute goal for Elche against Girona in the early kick-off. The first red card of the season was given to Richy from Girona in their opening game against Elche.
