Juan Solanas
Juan Solanas (born 4 November 1966) is an Argentine film director, producer, screenwriter and cinematographer. His film ''Nordeste'' was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival. He directed the French-Canadian production '' Upside Down'' (2012), starring Jim Sturgess and Kirsten Dunst. He is the son of Argentinian film director and Senator Fernando "Pino" Solanas. Fernando Solanas
Fernando Ezequiel "Pino" Solanas (16 February 1936 – 6 November 2020) was an Argentine film director, screenwriter, and politician. His films include; '' La hora de los hornos (The Hour of the Furnaces)'' (1968), '' Tangos: el exilio de Gardel'' (1985), '' Sur'' (1988), '' El viaje'' (1992), ''La nube'' (1998) and ''Memoria del saqueo'' (2004), among many others. He was National Senator representing the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires for six years, from 2013 to 2019. Solanas studied theatre, music, and law. In 1962, he directed his first short feature ''Seguir andando'' and in 1968 he covertly produced and directed his first long feature film '' La Hora de los Hornos'', a documentary on neo-colonialism and violence in Latin America. The film won several international awards and was screened around the world. Jack Waltzer (' since 1967) is an American acting coach and actor. Biography Waltzer is a lifetime member of the Actors Studio and trained with educators of the Stanislavsky method such as Stella Adler, Sanford Meisner, Lee Strasberg, and Uta Hagen. He coaches actors both in North America and Europe, with master classes in cities such as Paris. His students have included Dustin Hoffman, Sigourney Weaver, Sharon Stone, Julie Gayet, and David Atrakchi. In a ''Los Angeles Times'' article, Weaver credited "her newfound range with a process that began after Roman Polanski introduced her to uber-acting coach Jack Waltzer in Paris in 1993."
