Juan Luis Iborra
Juan Luis Pérez Iborra (born 25 March 1959), simply known as Juan Luis Iborra, is a Spanish screenwriter and director. Biography Juan Luis Pérez Iborra was born in L'Alfàs del Pi on 25 March 1959. He moved to Madrid, where he started studying drama in 1979. After making his acting debut on stage in 1982, he developed instead a career as a screenwriter (both in film and television), including Televisión Española's show '. In 1995, he won the Goya Award for Best Original Screenplay for ''All Men Are the Same''. One year later, he earned a nomination for Best Original Screenplay for '' Mouth to Mouth''. Iborra debuted as director with the featured films ''Amor de hombre'' (1997) and '' Km. 0'' (2000), both co-helmed alongside Yolanda García Serrano, making his solo debut with ' (2000). ''Fotogramas'' is Spanish digital and print film magazine which has been in circulation since 1946. It is one of the early film magazines in Spain. History Founded in Barcelona, it was first published on 15 November 1946 by Antonio Nadal-Rodó and María Fernanda Gañán. On 5 February 1951, the magazine awarded their first Placa de San Juan Bosco award to actor Jesús Tordesillas for his performance in 1950 film ''Pequeñeces''. In the 1970s the magazine was part of the Nadal Group. New categories were added over time to the award which were renamed Fotogramas de Plata and in 2012 they absorbed the TP de Oro awards. In 2011, the magazine was acquired by Hearst Communications. In 2018, Hearst closed the editorial office in Barcelona in order to centralize editing efforts in Madrid. ''La que se avecina'', is a Spanish television situation comedy created by Alberto Caballero, Laura Caballero and Daniel Deorador. The show is set in Mirador de Montepinar, a condominium located in the suburbs of Madrid. The show is an indirect successor to the Antena 3 comedy '' Aquí no hay quien viva''. The name is a pun on the verb "avecinarse", which means both "become neighbour to" and "approach", and is used in expression ''la que se avecina'' meaning "the trouble that is approaching", so it alludes both to being neighbours and the friction that exists between the characters. ''La que se avecina'' debuted on Telecinco, and was later rerun by the same network as well as cable/satellite channels FDF and Comedy Central España.
