Juan Larrea (poet)
Juan Larrea Celayeta (Bilbao, March 13, 1895 – Córdoba, Argentina, July 9, 1980) was a Spanish essayist and poet. He studied literature at the University of Salamanca, and moved later to Paris where he published in French language the magazine ''Favorables París Poema'' with César Vallejo. After the Spanish Civil War, he moved definitively to the Americas, where he was an active member of the cultural life. He was an incessant collector and some of his collections about Inca art were donated to the National Archaeological Museum of Spain in 1937. Juan Larrea (politician)
Juan Larrea (24 June 1782 – 20 June 1847) was a Spanish businessman and politician in Buenos Aires during the early nineteenth century. He headed a military unit during the second British invasion of the Río de la Plata, and worked at the Buenos Aires Cabildo. He took part in the ill-fated Mutiny of Álzaga. Larrea and Domingo Matheu were the only two Spanish-born members of the Primera Junta, the first national government of Argentina. He supported the secretary Mariano Moreno within the Junta, and was moved to the distant city of San Juan when the Morenists were removed from government. He returned as a deputy for Córdoba in the Assembly of Year XIII constituent assembly, promoting many resolutions. Together with Carlos María de Alvear, he organized the strategy for the downfall of the royalist stronghold in Montevideo, a threat to Buenos Aires during the Argentine War of Independence. Juan Larrea (footballer)
Juan Alberto Larrea (born 15 July 1993) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Gamma Ethniki club Panthrakikos. Career Ferro Carril Oeste were Larrea's first club. After being an unused substitute once during the 2011–12 Primera B Nacional season, Larrea made his debut for the club on 1 September 2012 during a draw away to Independiente Rivadavia. He made fourteen appearances in 2012–13 as they placed seventeenth, prior to featuring five times in 2013–14. In July 2014, Larrea was loaned to Primera B Metropolitana's Comunicaciones. He returned on 31 December, though never made an appearance for Comunicaciones. Larrea then participated in seventeen matches in two campaigns for Ferro, before joining Cañuelas.
