Juan José León Rubio is a former Governor of Aguascalientes. Juan José León Rubio obtained his law degree from National Autonomous University of Mexico and has a master's degree from the University of Guadalajara. For 25 years he served as an official at the Secretariat of Finance and Public Credit. León Rubio was Secretary of Finance and Administration of Aguascalientes between 1998 and 2004, during the governorship of Felipe González González. When Gonzalez left office on August 26, 2004 to join the cabinet of Vincent Fox, León Rubio was appointed interim governor. Vincent Fox
Vicente Fox Quesada (; born 2 July 1942) is a Mexican businessman and politician who served as the 62nd president of Mexico from 1 December 2000 to 30 November 2006. After campaigning as a right-wing populist, Fox was elected president on the National Action Party (PAN) ticket in the 2000 election. He became the first president not from the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) since 1929, and the first elected from an opposition party since Francisco I. Madero in 1911. Felipe González González (28 January 1947 – 24 February 2023) was a Mexican politician and businessman. A member of the National Action Party (PAN), he was Governor of Aguascalientes from 1998 to 2004 and served in the Senate from 2006 to 2012. Early years Felipe González was born in Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes, on 28 January 1947. His father died when he was 21, after which time he worked in the family business with his brothers.
