Juan Armet
Juan Armet de Castellví, nicknamed "Kinké" (30 June 1895 in Terrassa – 5 October 1956 in Madrid) was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward, and later a coach. Club career Born in Terrassa, Catalonia, Kinké began to play football in 1911 with Universitary SC, featuring alongside the likes of Ricardo Zamora. After 5 seasons with the club, he joined Espanyol in 1916, with whom he played for one year. At the end of the season, he was transferred to Sevilla, with whom he played for the next ten seasons, retiring as a footballer in 1927 at the age of thirty-two. International career While a Espanyol player, he was eligible to play for the Catalonia national team, and in May 1916, he was part of the Catalan team that won the second edition of the Prince of Asturias Cup in 1916, an inter-regional competition organized by the RFEF. Terrassa (, es, Tarrasa) is a city in the east central region of Catalonia, Spain, in the province of Barcelona, ''comarca'' of Vallès Occidental, of which it is the co-capital along with Sabadell. The Prince of Asturias Cup (, ) was an inter-regional football competition contested by the regional selections of Spain – selections of players from clubs from the region in question, meaning that players did not need to be native to the region. There have been seven tournaments for the Prince of Asturias Cup, the first of which was organized in 1915 by the national committee of the RFEF (Spanish FA) in honor of the donator of the trophy, don Alfonso, Prince of Asturias, the first-born son of King Alfonso XIII and Prince of Asturias. The first editions (1914 to 1918) of the competition were held in Madrid and the registration of the regional federations was voluntary. Juan Monjardín
Juan Monjardín Callejón (24 April 1903 – 13 November 1950) was a Spanish footballer who played as a striker. He played for Real Madrid and earned 4 caps for the Spain national football team, competing at the 1924 Summer Olympics. A historical member of Real Madrid in the pre-war period, he was the first footballer to play for Madrid for his entire career, and thus be part of the so-called one-club men group.
