Juami Tiongson
Juan Miguel B. "Juami" Tiongson (born February 5, 1991) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Terrafirma Dyip of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Tiongson was drafted by the Blackwater Elite twelfth overall in the 2014 PBA draft. He played college basketball at Ateneo de Manila University. Professional career Blackwater Elite (2014–2016) On August 24, 2014, Tiongson was drafted by the Blackwater Elite with its 12th overall pick in the 2014 PBA Rookie Draft. He played with them for 2 years, then was bought out. NLEX Road Warriors (2017–2019) Later on, the NLEX Road Warriors gave him a new contract to play for them. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. The 2019 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Governors' Cup also known as the 2019 Honda–PBA Governors' Cup for sponsorship reasons was the third and final conference of the 2019 PBA season. The 2022–23 PBA season or PBA Season 47 is the 47th season of the Philippine Basketball Association. For the first time in two seasons, the league will return to its regular three-conference format, starting with the Philippine Cup. The Commissioner's and Governors' Cups are the second and third conferences in the upcoming season. After the PBA adjusted its calendar again, the association's 47th season was set to start on June 5, 2022, and scheduled to end on May 10, 2023. The 2021 PBA Governors' Cup, also known as the 2021 Honda PBA Governors' Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the second and last conference of the 2021 PBA season of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The 20th edition of the Governors' Cup began on December 8, 2021, after the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) approved the league's request, and ended on April 22, 2022. The San Miguel Beermen are a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). It is one of three PBA clubs owned by the San Miguel Corporation group of companies along with the Magnolia Hotshots and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. 2021 PBA Philippine Cup
The 2021 Philippine Cup, also known as the 2021 Honda PBA Philippine Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the first conference of the 2021 PBA season of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The 43rd PBA Philippine Cup started on July 16, 2021, and ended on October 29, 2021. The tournament did not allow teams to hire foreign players or imports. On August 3, the league announced that it will be suspending their games beginning August 4 after the government declared that Metro Manila will be under Enhanced Community Quarantine from August 6 to 20.
