João M. P. Lemos
João M. P. Lemos is a Portuguese illustrator and comic book author. He was a member of the former Bica Studio, in Lisbon. He did work for Marvel Comics designing, penciling and inking '' Avengers Fairy Tales'' #1, which was written by C. B. Cebulski. Lemos has created set designs and storyboards for ''Kunta'', a short film directed by Angelo Torres and also authored its credits and logo design. Writer Midori Snyder compared Lemos' work to Erté's. Lemos is known for undertaking unusual amounts of research in most of his works. Erté
Romain de Tirtoff (23 November 1892 – 21 April 1990) was a Russian-born French artist and designer known by the pseudonym Erté, from the French pronunciation of his initials (, EHR TEH). He was a 20th-century artist and designer in an array of fields, including fashion, jewellery, graphic arts, costume and set design for film, theatre, and opera, and interior decor. Early life Tirtoff was born Roman Petrovich Tyrtov (Роман Петрович Тыртов) in Saint Petersburg, to a distinguished family with roots tracing back to 1548, to a Tatar khan named Tyrtov. Midori Snyder is an American writer of fantasy, mythic fiction, and nonfiction on myth and folklore. She has published eight novels for children and adults, winning the Mythopoeic Award for ''The Innamorati''. Her work has been translated into French, Dutch, Italian and Turkish. Angelo Torres (born April 14, 1932, in Santurce, Puerto Rico) is an American cartoonist and caricaturist whose work has appeared in many noteworthy comic books, as well as a long-running regular illustrator for '' Mad''. EC Comics Torres was friends with artist Al Williamson in the early 1950s and occasionally assisted him on work for EC Comics with fellow artists Frank Frazetta and Roy Krenkel (known as the Fleagle Gang). The story which was to be Torres' first solo EC story, "An Eye for an Eye" in ''Incredible Science Fiction ''#33 (Jan.-Feb. 1956), was rejected by the Comics Code and did not see print for the first time until 1971. Kunta
The Kountas or Kuntas (singular: ''Elkentawi'' or ''Alkanata'') are described originally as Arabs, descendants of Uqba ibn Nafi,. The Kunta tribe are also considered to have roots to Sidi Ahmad al-Bakkay, the founder, who died in the early 16th century. The Kunta originated in Qayrawan. The Kunta was formed during the 9th/15th or possibly during the 10th/16th century. They were located in the north-west side of Shara.
