Louise Barnes
Louise Barnes (born 26 April 1974) is a South African actress. Barnes gained recognition in South Africa for various roles in locally produced films and television series'. She is best known for her role in the 2009 South African/UK horror film, '' Surviving Evil'', in which she starred alongside Billy Zane, Christina Cole and Natalie Mendoza. Anne Wheeler, OC, (born September 23, 1946) is a Canadian film and television writer, producer, and director. Biography Graduating in Mathematics from the University of Alberta she was a computer programmer before traveling abroad. Her years of travels inspired her to become a storyteller and when she returned she joined a group of old friends to form a film collective. From 1975 to 1985 she worked for the NFB where she made her first feature film, ''A War Story'' (1981), which was about her father, Ben Wheeler and his time as a doctor in a P.O.W. camp during World War II. The Gemini Awards were awards given by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television between 1986–2011 to recognize the achievements of Canada's television industry. The Gemini Awards are analogous to the Emmy Awards given in the United States and the BAFTA Television Awards in the United Kingdom.
